Roles and Responsibility-

Ensure environment, health and safety at workplace with zero harm, zero discharge and zero waste.

Review of production plans and oversees their effective implementation

Ensure production and productivity of sinter plant as per Blast Furnace requirements

Ensure availability of right quality & quantity of Sinter for smooth operations of Blast furnace

Prepare and manage department's budget, implement cost-saving measures by right blend of raw

materials and improving operational efficiency, cost control of spares and consumables within

approved budget

Oversee preparation of predictive, preventive and scheduled maintenance plans to ensure minimum

downtime and enhance equipment reliability.

Ensure effective co-ordination with mechanical, electrical and operation sections for maintenance

activity.

Optimization and Capacity Utilization of Equipment & Manpower

Coordination with Internal/External Stakeholders

Review, monitoring & control of Inventory, Loss control.

Ensure in house training and development of team skill for better performance.

Desired attributes: Experience in steel industries preferably in Sinter plant, ability to handle big

team and take quick decisions
