Deputy General Manager - MEP, Bangalore Project

Position: DGM MEP

Location: Bangalore

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in residential and commercial projects, particularly in high-rise buildings. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in working with developers and demonstrate expertise in managing multiple aspects of large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Planning & Execution: Oversee and monitor the execution of Plumbing, Firefighting, HVAC, and Elevator works at the site, ensuring alignment with project timelines and standards.

- Technical Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all technical requirements, including Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Contract Drawings, and BOQ, maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

- Coordination & Collaboration: Facilitate effective coordination between Consultants, Main Contractors, MEP Contractors, and other Sub-Contractors, ensuring seamless communication and project integration.

- Quality Control: Manage the quality and technical accuracy of installations, adhering to the project's Quality Assurance Plan by maintaining method statements, checklists, and regular inspections.

- Stakeholder Meetings: Participate in regular progress, coordination, and design meetings with consultants, contractors, and the main contractor to address key project issues and implement effective corrective actions.

- Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure on-time, within-budget, and high-quality project delivery.

- System Testing & Handover: Develop and implement testing and commissioning plans for MEP systems, ensuring a smooth handover to the Facility Team upon project completion.

- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety standards, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with the project-specific safety plan.
