Roles and responsibilities:
The role and responsibilities are broad and include, but are not limited to:
- Exceeding the geography's Sales Targets/ Goals.
- Work on AOP and its closure.
- Signing of PPAs with customers.
- Customer Generation and Build Sales funnel (8-10X).
- Establish company as a preferred supplier in the assigned geography.
- Identify prospective deals while giving input into prioritization and strategy of pursuits, manage the sales cycle including prospecting, proposal submission, PPA closure.
- Complete understanding of regulatory and policies for renewable in the state.
- Manage the Sales team in the region.
- Develop a robust channel partner network.
- Manage customer relations till Project life cycle.
- Manage company to company corporate relationship.
- Act as the Key account manager for the defined/named accounts.
- Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.
- Coordinate closely with internal sales, sales support, Design & Engineering teams, Finance team and service resources to align solution design with customers business requirements.
- Manage relationship with state govt. agencies like State Transmission companies, DISCOMs, State Renewable energy authorities etc.
- Maintain a network of Land aggregators, liaison agencies.
- Complete knowledge of the approval process of Open Access Power Projects in state.
- Provide complete market intelligence to company on competition, customer details, upcoming projects etc.
