Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
The primary role of the Deputy/Assistant Manager - Farm Machinery Sales at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Swaraj Division, is to ensure the sales and performance of Sales & Wheel Harvesters / Self Propelled Combine Harvester of Swaraj Division. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing smooth sales execution at dealership and distributor level to ensure revenue generation and growth. This includes activation, enquiry generation, and conversion at the dealership/distributor level, as well as coordination for retail and wholesale finance.
You will also be responsible for ensuring product availability and the right product mix at dealer's point, implementing state-level strategies, managing business with complete financial discipline, promoting self-propelled combined harvesters through various activities, and liaising with government officials and agriculture officials. Additionally, you will identify dealerships/distributors and retailers to develop a channel network for increased coverage and business, conduct detailed competition analysis, appoint new dealerships/distributors, and train the dealership/distributor and their available manpower.
Other responsibilities include enhancing dealer's profitability through farm machinery business, resolving customer complaints, positioning new agricultural equipment in the market, ensuring timely supply of all farm machinery products, coordinating with the state tractor team, and positioning Mahindra as a leader in farm machinery sales.
