We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering professional to join our team on a deputation basis. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant industry experience and possess expertise in CAD modelling, assembly, and generating manufacturing drawings. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand project objectives and requirements assigned by project leads or supervisors.
- Create CAD models from 2D renders/drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform CAD modelling and assembly of various configurations, components, and assemblies as per company standards and compatibility with ilogic configurator.
- Generate manufacturing files, including detailed drawings and laser cut files, for production and prototyping purposes.
- Perform peer review and validate CAD designs, drawings for functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including version control and file management, to facilitate efficient collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Adhere to project timelines, milestones, and quality standards to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Requirements
Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Relevant Skills: 3D (modelling, assembly, configurations), Manufacturing 2D (nesting, sheet metal, machining, welding, configurations), Product Configurator
- Relevant Knowledge: Engineering, ISO Design standards, Drawing standards, Change management cycle, Product documentation, QC checklist
- Good English communication skills (oral and written)
Expected Qualification
- Mechanical Engineer with 2 to 5 years of over all experience in MCAD
- Minimum 1+ years of experience working with Autodesk Inventor tool latest edition
