- Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct dental screenings at various schools as part of a preventive dental program.
- Educate students, parents, and school staff on proper dental hygiene practices.
Document dental conditions, create reports, and provide recommendations for follow-up care.- Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.
Assist in coordinating and scheduling screening events in collaboration with school personnel.
- Support the dental team in patient flow management during screening sessions.
- Qualifications and Skills:
Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor's preferred).
- Current state license required.
2+ years of experience as a Dental Hygienist, preferably with experience in pediatric or community-based dental care.- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to engage with children and school staff.
Experience working with children is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel to different schools and flexibility in work hours.
