Role Description

Best Denim is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Denim Retail Specialist to lead our dealings with denim exporters, buying houses, and brands. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of proven experience in the denim industry and a solid track record of managing and expanding business relationships. This role demands strategic thinking, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to drive business growth through effective relationship management and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage Relationships: Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with denim exporters, buying houses, and brands to ensure consistent business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and expand our client base.
  • Product Development and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to oversee product development and ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Handle high-stakes negotiations and manage contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform business strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • BTech degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing relationships with denim exporters, buying houses, or brands in Delhi/Gurugram/Noida
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and manage high-profile client relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of the denim industry, market trends, and quality standards
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
