Demurrage Executive

• Track all liquid fixtures from the time of confirmation.

• Pursue load / discharge port documents and other related supporting emails with Brokers / Operations department.

• Prepare an accurate calculation based on available documents and raise a re-bill to counter parties in a time bound manner.

• Analyze Vessel and Barge Demurrage claims received from owners.

• Communicate observations and comments on claims to Owners and counter parties.

• Strong follow up for the receivables.

• Co-ordinate with Trader and operation department in order to guide them / in order to finalise the claim, case to case basis.

• Carefully create a call in the system (Hub Se) and thoroughly update the system.

• Assist collection team with information related to re-bills.
  
  

What are we looking for:

• Good understanding of voyage economics for chemical tankers trade.

• Should have fundamental understanding of oil supply chain and shipping technical terms.

• Fundamental understanding of Cargo operations.

Technical Knowledge

• Basic understanding of costs and revenue streams associated with chemical tankers trade

• General understanding of cargo (chemical) operations.

• Good understanding required to grasp key contractual terms (charter party terms) with business intent.

Behavioural Skills

• Action oriented and able to deliver in a demanding work environment

• Good written and communication

• Good negotiation skills
