Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for DELLEMC RP4VM Engineers located in Mumbai. As one of our DELLEMC RP4VM Engineers, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all applications and systems deployed through Dell RP4VM. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT and Software Engineers, to develop and implement new features and enhancements. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting any issues related to the software applications and systems deployed through Dell RP4VM.

Primary scope of the engineer is to support, manage and monitor of replication of VMs at both sites with RP4VM

application.

RE will create CC as per our requirement

RE will carry failover / failback and other related work as per requirement.

Incident management

Change Management / Change Implementations

Problem Management / Assist in RCA

Assist in SoftwareIFirmware upgrades.

Basic troubleshooting (Resident Engineer will work with respective OEM Support Team)

Escalation Support

Raise case and work with Vendors and platform teams

Weekly and Monthly operational reports to management

Storage and SAN Switch upgrades

New Storage provisioning tasks

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Dell RP4VM (Recover Point for Virtual Machine) and Data Domain
• Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end deployment of Dell RP4VM including the configuration of Data Domain and Networking for replication
• Good understanding of the various modules of Dell RP4VM such as SRM, VRA, VRO, and vCenter Server.
• Experience in Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux and Unix, and Virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi and Hyper-V.
• Strong knowledge of storage concepts and basic networking principles
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• A highly analytical mindset, with the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work with onsite and offsite teams in a cross-functional and collaborative environment
