Delivery Manager PLM Solution
We are looking for an IT Delivery Manager to manage UDs PLM solutions. UD uses PTCs Windchill solution as our PLM platform. In this job, you will lead a global and distributed IT team that will be responsible to maintain and support UD Technology users.
What You Will Do
- You will be responsible and accountable for managing IT solutions within PLM area and the entire ecosystem ( integrations to connected solutions and other PTC products like Creo)
- You are an excellent planner and has ability to drive the tactical operational goals for your delivery basket
- Manage budget for application support with in your delivery basket
- You will be part of the management team in UD trucks
- You are comfortable in working with people of diverse cultures ( Japan, Thailand, South Africa etc.) You are an excellent communicator with ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple manner, good at escalations and follow ups on tasks.
- You will be working with partners and their team members across India and abroad
- You are responsible to drive engagement in your team through effective communication and a strong focus on efficiency and collaboration.
- Ensure that the team work in an agile manner and facilitate set up of relevant tools / processes for them to be productive
- Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements
- Responsible for mentoring, guiding team members
- Done competence management of the team and evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs
- Drive process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and efficiency improvements
- Has experience working in high pressure environments
- Report delivery status to customers (Quality, Cost, customer satisfaction, Delivery Excellence)
Who are you
- An experienced IT Delivery manager / program manager with 15 to 20 years of experience managing / maintaining PLM solutions (preferably Windchill / PTC products). Good to show PTC certifications
- Education: B-Tech Degree, MBA is plus.
- You have good knowledge of working in an engineering company, how BOM and product structures are created, maintained in a transportation company (preferably truck manufacturing company)
- Experience in a people management leadership role ( at least 10 years)
- Good understanding of ITIL process (incident management, problem management, change management and knowledge management). Certifications will be added benefit ( non-mandatory)
- Strong project management, financial control and quality control skills
- Good resource planning skills (eg: job rotations, bench resource management etc)
- Have an owners mentality to drive results
- Ability to build effective teams and instill trust through collaboration and by valuing differences
- Proven experience working in and leading Agile teams
- Has proven global work experience of managing remote teams (mandatory)
- Proficiency in English mandatory, and proficiency in Japanese is strong advantage
