Position: Dean, Department of Psychology
Location: IILM University, Greater Noida
Job Description: IILM University seeks applications from qualified, self-driven candidates for the position of Dean, Department of Psychology. The Dean will report to the Vice Chancellor of the university and work closely with other academic and administrative leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and academic leadership to the Department of Psychology, in alignment with community needs and vision and mission of the university.
- Oversee curriculum design, review, and enhancement, ensuring that the program remains relevant and responsive to the needs of students.
- Recruit and develop a diverse and high-quality faculty team, including full-time and adjunct faculty, to deliver the program's courses and activities.
- Collaborate with industry partners to establish meaningful connections and opportunities for internships, mentorships, and experiential learning.
- Engage with program alumni to build and maintain a strong community of professionals who can serve as mentors, advocates, and partners for current and future students.
Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent degree in Psychology from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated leadership experience of minimum 10 years in academic or professional settings, with a focus on program management and development.
- Previous experience of leading the academic programs, ensuring high-quality education and a focus on practical learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with faculty, students, and industry partners.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes diversity, equity, and social responsibility.
- Preference will be given to candidates with strong research credentials
