A Casino Gaming Dealer is responsible for operating table games in a casino, such as blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat, and poker. Key Responsibilities
- Operate table games, including blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat, and poker, according to established game rules and procedures.
- Deal cards or operate other gaming equipment, such as dice or roulette wheels.
- Handle and exchange chips and cash with players, ensuring that bets are accurately placed and paid out.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanour with customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer issues or complaints.
- Monitor and enforce game rules and regulations, ensuring fair play and adherence to casino policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized gaming area, including the table, chairs, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other dealers and casino staff to ensure a smooth and efficient gaming experience for customers.
- Attend training sessions to learn new games and refine existing skills.
- Adhere to all casino regulations and policies, including those related to security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in gaming may be preferred.
- Min 1 3 years of experience in Casino Gaming
- Strong knowledge of casino games, including rules, procedures, and etiquette.
- Excellent math skills, including the ability to quickly and accurately calculate bets and pay-outs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
