nWhat we're looking for
nA Technical Support Engineer to support our Communication Service Providors clients in APAC & EMEA region as part of cyber security First Level Support (FLS) team in Allot Secure product line Global Support.
nWhat you'll do
- nHandle 1st and 2nd level support cases professionally and independently via CRM, phone and email
- nProvide excellent, dedicated and proactive support service
- nPerform deep problem investigation into system logs and behaviour
- nProvide technical guidance and solutions to the company's customers and partners, problem reproduction and lab simulations
- nWork with higher tier support teams and travel to customer sites according to need.
- nAll while maintaining direct contact with key customers in the APAC/EMEA region off-site and on-site to assure customer satisfaction and success. Serving APAC/EMEA customers but with opportunities to serve and travel globally.
nWorking in 9-hour shifts according to coverage needs mainly aimed to cover APAC and EMEA regions but may include other regions or Key Accounts. The position includes Weekend shifts and on-call duty as part of 24x7 global coverage.

What you should have
- nAt least 3-5 years hands-on experience in cyber security domain and/or product line
- n3+ years of experience in DDoS mitigation and incident response.
- nKnowledge of emerging DDoS trends such as multi-vector attacks, IoT botnets, and application-layer DDoS.
- nExperience supporting security product line for Tier 1 ISP/Mobile operators
- nHands-on experience in IDS/IPS, Malware protection, Endpoint security
- nStrong knowledge of tools such as Snort, Wireshark, Splunk.
- nAt least 2+ years of experience on Supporting Applications on Cloud Platforms such as Kubernetes, AWS, Azure.
- nHands-on experience in PKI, SSL/TLS Certificate based authentication, IPSec / SSL VPN
- nDetailed understanding of Cyber security best practices, threats, attack types, Phishing, Malware, Ransomware
- nStrong knowledge of Linux system administration and operation (CentOSRedHat preferred).
- nStrong hands-on working knowledge of TCP/IP networks, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, packet sniffing and traffic generation.
- nAbility to learn and adapt quickly to technologies and technical environments.
- nLeadership and team collaboration skills to manage cross-functional security teams during incident response.
- nExcellent communicator written and spoken in English spoken and writing skills a must.
nAcademic & Certifications
- nGraduate/Diploma of Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- nCertifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNA Security, or specific DDoS Dfense certifications
- nCloud Certifications such as AWS, Azure, CKA
