We are seeking a skilled DCIM (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing data centre infrastructure, with expertise in IT and computer systems. System Management: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems to ensure optimal performance and integration.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor and analyze data centre operations, including power, cooling, space, and capacity management. Implement strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve issues related to DCIM systems, including hardware, software, and network components.Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of DCIM configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Prepare reports on system performance and incidents.Support: Provide technical support and training to data centre staff on DCIM operations and best practices.
- Coordination: Work closely with other departments and vendors to ensure seamless integration and operation of DCIM systems.
Compliance:
Ensure that all DCIM activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Implement best practices to maintain data centre integrity and security.
Education:
Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent technical qualification.Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in managing and optimizing Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems.Skills: Strong technical knowledge of DCIM systems, including software, hardware, and network components. Proficient in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data centre operations.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in IT or DCIM technologies are a plus.
