DB Administrator/SQL Developer Job

Job description :

Experience required: 6+ years.

We are looking for highly competent SQL developer and fundamentals of DB administration to join our team to help drive the ongoing development of our cloud-based technology projects.
This position requires extensive experience in writing DDL and DML SQL queries for SQL server database. Candidate should have at least 6+ years of experience. Should have experience in viewing and analysing the query plan in SQL server to improve the performance.

Key Role/Responsibilities:
. Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
. Design, create, and implement database systems based on the end user's requirements.
. Improve application's performances.
. Prepare documentations for database applications.
. Develop database objects such as schema, tables , Views, Functions, Stored Procedures,dictionaries etc.
. Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases.
. Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
. Provide authentication and authorizations for users in Azure Directory and SQL Server/DB level.
. Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
. Must have some experience in Index management including maintenance.

Required Skills:
. Strong experience in developing complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.
. Expert knowledge in SQL server administration
. Strong knowledge in query optimization and performance tuning.
. Should have some experience in Transaction and deadlock analysis.
. Good to have experience in SQL Management Studio and Azure.
. Experience developing applications with Agile team methodologies preferred.
. Sufficient experience with Git to organize a large software project/scripts

. Experience at creating technical project Documentation and task time estimates.
