Database Lead

Detailed JD:

This is a lead position and should have experience on multiple DB platforms.

Should experience in DB Sanitization, Azure SQL, SQLMI, Postgres, Cosmos DB will be the Primary, Oracle, A

Database Design & Architecture: Proficiency in database schema design, normalization, and data modeling techniques.

Expertise in major DBMS platforms like Azure SQL, SQLMI, Azure Postgre SQL, redis cache, MongoDB and Cosmos DB.

Experience managing operations on cloud-based infra environments(Specially Azure).

In-depth knowledge of query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance monitoring tools.

Strong understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability (HA) solutions.

Familiarity with database security measures, including encryption, authentication, and role-based access control.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation of routine database tasks.

Ability to develop and implement long-term database strategies that align with the organization's goals.

Expertise in conducting thorough investigations to determine the root cause of recurring problems and preventing future occurrences

Understanding of budget constraints and cost management, especially in cloud environments.

Data Compliance ensuring that the database environment complies with them and Ability to prepare for & manage database audits.

Experience leading a team of DBAs, including task delegation, mentoring, and professional development.

Ability to manage and coordinate multiple database-related projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals.
