Database Engineer

Required Skills:

Significant background in SQL, PL/PostgreSQL, Stored Functions, SQL Queries, Views and Triggers.

Familiarity with PostgreSQL support for JSON.

Understanding PostgreSQL internal structures, performance tuning , index management and optimization.

Knowledge on GIT, Database Deployments.

Good understanding of any Cloud environment (AWS/Google/Azure).

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN.

Good understanding of DevOps CI/CD pipelines and tool chain (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)

An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment using JIRA, Rally, etc.

Good to Have Skills:

Python

SSIS (Any Data Migration Tool) and SSRS (Any Reporting Tool)
