Supports data operations in the Global Delivery and Assurance organization.
Existing team members are responsible for the development and maintenance of:
- incoming data streams and feeds,
- database schemas associated with those feeds,
- relationships and complex joins between existing and new data streams
- and, supporting BRAIN data marts and cube structures.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Design stable, reliable and effective databases
- Optimize and maintain legacy code
- Modify databases according to requests and perform thorough testing
- Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
- Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
- Gather user requirements and identify new features
- Provide data management support to users
- Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
Key Competencies And Skills
- Database administration, SQL (Microsoft, Oracle, and/or Linux versions)
- Proven work experience as a Database developer
- In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
- Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
- Hands on experience with T-SQL and PL/SQL, SSMS and SSIS
- Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML and Oracle
- Advanced user of MS Office (Excel)
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- An ability to understand front-end user requirements and an independent problem-solving attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent spoken and written English language communication skills are required.

Education And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science related subject or comparable experience
- Minimum of 5 year of experience in a fast-paced programming environment
