Description

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator for Canada, Germany. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and maintaining databases, ensuring their efficiency, security, and reliability. The candidate should be well-versed in database technologies and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain databases
• Ensure database security and reliability
• Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary
• Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures
• Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure database design and schema meet business requirements
• Create and maintain documentation of database processes and procedures

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1-11 years of experience in database administration
• Expertise in database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
• Experience with database backup and recovery procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Knowledge of database security and access controls
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
