Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced Database Administrator specializing in MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. The position is a mid-level role based in Hyderabad. The candidate will be required to have a minimum of 4 years of work experience. This is a full-time employment opportunity.
Qualifications And Skills
- Expertise in MSSQL (Mandatory skill) with hands-on experience in database administration, configuration, and optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL (Mandatory skill) with proven experience in managing and maintaining PostgreSQL databases.
- Strong skills in MongoDB (Mandatory skill), including database design, scaling, and disaster recovery.
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting to automate database tasks and streamlining operations.
- Experience with Ansible for IT automation and configuration management of databases.
- Familiarity with Redis, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with AWS and other cloud platforms for database deployment and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex database issues effectively.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and replication strategies to safeguard data integrity.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal database efficiency.
- Automate routine database tasks using Shell Scripting and Ansible for seamless operations.
- Collaborate with development teams to design databases that meet application requirements and performance goals.
- Monitor database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
- Participate in capacity planning and scaling initiatives for database systems.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and industry trends to implement best practices.
