Data Scientist - Team Lead

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in data engineering, data science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing data engineering and analytics teams.
• Experience working in a European, ideally German, company with cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Advanced programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Expertise with advanced analytics tools and techniques, including machine learning and data visualization.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Collaborate closely with the Data AI Office in Germany to strengthen our worldwide in-house Data AI capacities.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines.
• Ensure efficient and reliable working methodologies across the team. Act as the main contact for technical inquiries.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
