Role Description
We are looking for a Data Scientist, both
fresher and
experienced, who will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions that bring in good business value.
Your primary focus will be on applying Data Mining techniques, doing Statistical Analysis, building Statistical / ML models and supporting Analytic Implementations in production systems / processes.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business decisions - Selecting/engineering features, building and optimizing Statistical / ML models
- Support moving models to production, by creating quality code modules that can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems
- Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure
- Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into business processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Data Science and Analytics
- Work on diverse data analytics-related projects to address varied business requirements and challenges
Skills Required:
- Strong mathematical and coding aptitude is a must.
- Hands-on exposure to common data science toolkits including comfort in Python or R and SQL
- Exposure to data visualization tools and techniques.
- Good applied statistical skills and fundamental understanding of classification/regression models
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data-related services.
- Ability to communicate advanced analytic outputs clearly, adapting according to the audience
- For experienced candidates, a strong track record of delivering successful hands-on machine learning projects is essential
Education Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS,IT, Data Science or a related field from a reputed Institute with an aggregate of at least 60%
Location: Head Office, Chennai (WFO)
Work Experience: 0-4 years of relevant experience.
