Job Description:
PharmaScroll is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our innovative team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data science, with a strong background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making processes and delivering impactful insights to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling:
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
- Work with structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and relationships.
- Data Management:
- Clean, pre process, and transform data for analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses and reports.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their analytical needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and presentations.
- Actively participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science and related technologies.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new tools and techniques to enhance analytics capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
