Objectives of this role

We're looking for a proficient Data Scientist with advanced Python skills and a robust foundation in data analytics, specifically in Highcharts Data Analytic, Incorta DB, SQL Data Warehousing (DW), NoSQL databases, and ETL processes. The perfect candidate should possess practical experience in cloud-based environments, particularly Azure, and should have a good understanding of Agile Methodology.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python-based applications and scripts for data processing, analysis, and integration tasks.

Utilize Hitrack Data Analytic tools for data visualization, reporting, and analysis purposes.

Manage and optimize Incorta DB for efficient data storage, retrieval, and querying.

Design and implement SQL Data Warehouses (DW) for analytics purposes, ensuring data integrity and performance.

Work with NoSQL databases for handling unstructured or semi-structured data.

Develop Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines for data integration across various sources and destinations.

Implement data solutions on Azure cloud platform, leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, etc.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver data solutions that meet business requirements.

Provide expertise in infrastructure setup and maintenance, both in public and private cloud environments.

Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

6-8 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.

Proficiency in Python programming language for data manipulation and automation tasks.

Experience working with Hitrack Data Analytic tools for visualization and analysis.

Strong background in managing Incorta DB for data storage and retrieval.

Expertise in designing and optimizing SQL Data Warehouses for analytics.

Familiarity with NoSQL databases and their use cases.

Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes.

Proficient in working with Azure cloud services, particularly for data solutions.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

A background in infrastructure setup and management, preferably in both public and private cloud environments, is strongly desired.

Good to Have

Database, Data Science & Analytics and Reporting knowledge will be a plus.

Business Hour

Normal Business hours. The expectation would be to start late and cover EST time until 12 PM. Exception subject to manager permission.

Job Type

Hybrid Working: Minimum 4 days from office Monday to Thursday. Friday is flexible but in case of business need and high demand, the manager may request to be present in the office.
