We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with 5-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, advanced statistical skills, and expertise in machine learning techniques. They will play a pivotal role in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets to drive informed decision-making across various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and optimize processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, gather requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyse experimental data and A/B test results.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling data visualizations, reports, and presentations.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis and modelling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a data science role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
- Strong knowledge of NLP, LLMs, machine learning algorithms, including classification, regression, clustering, and dimensionality reduction.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Matplotlib, or ggplot2.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
