Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Data Science Manager at Vybe Cabs. The Data Science Manager will oversee the day-to-day tasks related to statistical modeling, analytical skills, data science, statistics, and data analytics. They will lead a team of data scientists and analysts, ensuring the accurate analysis and interpretation of data to drive business insights and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and implement statistical models to predict demand, optimize routes, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Create dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics.
- Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the impact of new features and initiatives.
- Design and deploy machine learning algorithms to enhance predictive analytics.
- Implement AI-driven solutions for dynamic pricing, ride allocation, and fraud detection.
- Work closely with the engineering team to integrate data-driven solutions into the companys platform.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze customer behavior and optimize marketing strategies.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data validation processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with real-time data processing and streaming analytics.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
