As a Data Platform Administrator, you will build, manage, and maintain snowflake and AWS services in a data ecosystems. This role will help to identify the right next-gen tools to increase the productivity of developers, analysts, and the collaborators. Our goal is to provide the right level of services to help enable our clients to deliver data products faster and better.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, Data Platform ML Operations.
Responsibility
- Automate repetitive platform tasks using scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Terraform
- Manage Snowflake data platforms independently
- Analyze Snowflake production workloads and develop strategies to optimize Snowflake for scale and efficiency
- Design and develop secure access models using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Oversee workloads in AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda) and have a solid understanding of cloud concepts
- Have a strong desire to learn and manage user accounts, groups, and roles on the Tableau platform
- Resolve issues related to access and queries on Tableau dashboards
- Create and implement a monitoring strategy and framework across various platforms, including Snowflake, Tableau, Airflow, Fivetran, and AWS with the guidance
- Develop alerts and dashboards with log monitoring tools
- Develop and document operational best practices, monitoring procedures, SLAs, and metrics
- Collaborate with the data engineering team and business collaborators to expedite data product delivery
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a Master s degree or 5 years with a Bachelor s degree
- Experience with user provisioning and access management on Snowflake and Tableau
- Knowledge of data platform cost management, credit consumption, and cloud spend optimization
- Familiarity with AWS and managing cloud platforms
Preferred
- Strong commitment to operational excellence through automation, innovation, and documentation
- Superb communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both business and technical teams
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, IAM, and S3
- Knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, and Azure (preferably AWS)
- Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team environment
