Location: Remote in India (Initially US East Coast hours for onboarding, then flexible hours between 11 AM to 7 PM IST)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Data Operations Specialist to enhance our data operations through monitoring, optimization, and automation. This role involves ensuring data integrity and reliability while proactively addressing any issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a passion for process automation.
Responsibilities:
Proactive Monitoring and Response:
- Oversee data operations and ensure smooth overnight data aggregation runs.
- Execute initial resolution steps for any data job failures, including optimizing job parameters and resources.
- Monitor data integrity across critical, important, and routine processes, escalating issues as needed.
Issue Pattern Recognition and Automation:
- Identify and document recurring issues to develop automated solutions and improve system robustness.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer success teams to implement process improvements.
Customer Support Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers to address and preempt data-related customer inquiries.
- Provide timely responses to customer queries about data integrations and missing data.
Jira Ticket Management:
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date ticket management for product-related incidents and requests.
- Create detailed tickets for bugs and implementation issues, facilitating prompt resolution.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in technical support or data operations.
- Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- Ability to work US East Coast business hours initially, transitioning to flexible hours (11 AM to 7 PM IST) after the first 30 days.
- Self-driven with a strong customer service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding or familiarity with adtech and martech.
- Experience in advertising operations within digital media, publishing, or agency environments.
- Advanced SQL skills and basic Python knowledge.
