Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate
will have strong expertise in data migration, SQL, and at least one year of experience with
Salesforce. This role requires a high degree of ownership and accountability in migrating and
integrating data from various platforms into Salesforce.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Migrate and integrate data from different platforms into Salesforce.
- Prepare data migration plans and handle kickouts/fallouts.
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using TSQL.
- Perform SQL database partitioning and indexing procedures as required to handle heavy traffic loads.
- Understand Salesforce architecture and its objects (such as accounts, contacts, cases, etc.), custom objects, fields, and restrictions.
- Create fast and efficient database queries, including joins with several tables.
- Apply SQL optimization techniques.
- Design, create, and maintain databases.
Must-Have Skills
- Extensive experience in data migration and integration, particularly into Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and SQL optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Salesforce architecture and objects, including custom objects and fields.
- Ability to develop and optimize TSQL procedures and functions.
- Proficiency in performing SQL database partitioning and indexing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Good To Have
- Experience in Python for additional scripting and automation tasks.
