Position: Data Management Practice Leader
Location: Nagpur/Pune/Chennai/Bangalore
Key Result Areas and Activities:
- Provide Advisory and Consulting Services Drive and execute consulting engagements in areas of Data Governance, Data Catalog, Data Management for InfoCepts clients. Support pre-sales activities including engaging prospects, conducting workshops, developing point of views/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, engaging partners, and supporting sales and marketing enablement.
- Architect and Design Solutions Implement Enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality frameworks, operating model and data-culture transformation roadmap. Architect and Design modern, high-performance, secure, self-service, adoption solutions incorporating people, process, and technology levers. Establish data as a valued enterprise asset.
- Identify and Exploit New Technologies for New and Existing Accounts Contribute to Centers of Excellence (COEs) to further the technical and functional capabilities in the core solutions, platforms. Proactively maintain market trends, drive innovations and technology evaluations, engage teams and customers to determine top challenges. Lead key engagements to co-create and support successful delivery of InfoCepts solutions.
- Systematically Develop and Maintain Offerings Support offering development and lead its pilot implementation. Create implementation methodologies, processes, templates are defined, enhanced, and internalized for the prioritized solutions.
- Provide Advisory, Sales, and Marketing Support Support pre-sales activities including engaging prospects, conducting workshops, developing point of views/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, engaging partners, and supporting sales and marketing enablement.
- Build Capacity and Develop Talent for the Competency Center Coach and mentor talent, manage flex and matrixed resources in the competency center. Anchor and mentor architects who are associated with ADM. Run CoPs (Community of Practitioners) to support research and expertise sharing.
- Contribute to Organizational Strategy Provide thought leadership in the market, establish and run innovation labs, support GTM partnerships with channel partners, lead prioritized initiatives.
Work and Technical Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Management with background in data architecture, data warehousing and data integration
- Expertise in data governance including metadata management, data catalogs, business glossary, data quality, data classification data privacy and operationalization of data governance
- Proven ability in leading advisory and consulting specifically for data governance strategy & execution
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders across Business and IT in large and complex organizations
- Hands on experience on one or more the following platforms :Collibra DGC, Collibra data catalog and policy manager, Informatica EDC, Axon, Alation
- Experience in integration of enterprise data assets with data catalog, establishing data lineage, metadata enrichment to enable data discovery, workflow management in Collibra suite of products
- Understanding of data classification techniques, taxonomies, data ontologies, data security principles as well as appreciation for data privacy regulatory frameworks
- Understanding of data governance operating model, data stewardship and related processes
- Well versed with the latest trends in data governance and data management
- Proven ability to drive complex, multi-domain interactions with stakeholders from both business and IT
- Defined and implemented information lifecycle management practices
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams spread across time zones
- Strong communication and presentations skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master's degree is a plus)
- Demonstrated continued learning through one or more relevant certifications or related methods
- 15+ years of professional experience in the functional area of data architecture, data modelling and data governance
