Job Description-
As aSenior Software Engineer in Data Governance, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive data Catalog that accurately describes all data assets within the organization.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to identify and remediate data quality issues, validate new and existing data for accuracy and consistency, and ensure data integrity throughout the system.
- Map and document data lineage by tracing data flows to understand the origin, transformation stages, and final destination of data elements.
- Conduct research, collect data, analyze findings, and recommend solutions to optimize Master Data Management (MDM) processes and enhance data Catalog functionality.
- Maintain data dictionaries by ensuring accurate and up-to-date definitions for all data elements.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable data Catalog features.
- Develop and implement data governance processes to ensure consistent data classification and adherence to established data quality standards.
- Monitor data Catalog performance and identify opportunities for improvement in scalability, search functionality, and user experience.
- Stay up to date on emerging MDM and data cataloguing technologies to continuously improve data management practices within the organization.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2-8 years of experience in data governance or related field
- Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices
- Experience with data quality tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards
