Data Governance Analyst / Developer

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Analyst / Developer with 5-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance and development, with a focus on data quality, data management, and data security. The position will be based in India and will involve working closely with our data team to ensure that all data-related processes are in place and functioning effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Collaborate with the data team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance data quality
• Maintain and update data dictionaries, data models, and other data-related documentation
• Assist in the development and implementation of data security measures, including access controls and data encryption
• Provide training and support to end-users on data governance policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data governance and management

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in data governance and development
• Experience with data quality assessment, data profiling, and data cleansing
• Strong understanding of data management principles and practices
• Experience with data security and access controls
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification in data governance or related field is a plus
