Data Engineering Associate Advisor

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be a member of our D&AE Acceleration Enablement Solutions team. They will play a major role in the innovation, design and development of various portfolio projects within Data and Analytics foundational capabilities such as AI data foundation, AI data governance and Data Product and Entity Platform as a Code.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Serve as advisor and subject matter expert on project teams
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code using Python, Go, or other forward-facing languages
• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using serverless microservices architecture (AWS Lambda, Kubernetes)
• Test planning and execution
• Effectively operate within a team of technical and business professionals
• Review all designs and code from developers

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ Years of Experience in Python, PySpark to support new development as well as support existing
• 7+ Years of Experience with Cloud technologies, specifically AWS
• Experience with microservices development using Lambda and Kubernetes
• Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake
• Experience with CD/CI methodologies and processing and the development of these processes
• DevOps experience
• Knowledge in writing SQL and Terraform scripts
• Experience in the development of data extraction and load processes in a parallel framework
• Understanding of normalized and de-normalized data repositories
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location & Hours of Work:

(This is a Hybrid opportunity, and the candidate needs to be based out of Hyderabad. The work hours are 40 hours/week required by the employee)
