Data Engineering Analyst
Position Overview:
As a pivotal figure within our organization, you will embody the internal voice of the customer while assuming ownership of all facets of technical products. Your role entails spearheading the creation of business value and overseeing the holistic health of products within the Core Platforms, Business Analytics, and Reporting technical domain. Leveraging your specialized product acumen, you will interface between business and technology realms, articulating product vision and roadmap, prioritizing tasks, and translating requirements into actionable insights to ensure the attainment of anticipated outcomes.
Responsibilities
User Onboarding and Training:
- Lead the onboarding process for new users onto the analytics platforms.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, materials, and documentation to facilitate user understanding and adoption.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to ensure they are maximizing the platform's capabilities.
Data Integration and Management:
- Assist users in integrating their data sources with the analytics platforms.
- Ensure data quality and consistency by establishing and maintaining data governance protocols.
- Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to resolve any data-related issues.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with users to understand their business needs and analytics requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the analytics platforms.
- Identify opportunities for improving data usage and analytics practices.
Platform Administration and Support:
- Manage user access and permissions within the analytics platforms.
- Monitor platform performance and user activity, addressing any technical issues promptly.
- Provide tier-1 and tier-2 support for user inquiries and technical problems.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong grasp of Agile principles.
- Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Jira Align), collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint), reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot, PowerBI), and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Proven ability to balance technical knowledge with business acumen in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, able to prioritize, and inspire others.
Required Experience & Education:
- Experience in business intelligence and data analytics
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Software Engineering, Data Design, and Infrastructure.
