Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work with DataProc for distributed data processing and DataFlow for stream and batch data processing.
- Implement, test, and maintain complex data processing workflows.
- Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations using Python and (Py)Spark.
- Utilize BigQuery for data warehousing and SQL-based analytics.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy by adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data processes to ensure performance and reliability.
- Document processes, data flow, and architecture.
