We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our IT team and help build data solutions to drive insightful decisions for our automobile business.
Role: Data Engineer Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India Education: Bachelors Degree (Computer Science/ Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field) Experience: 6-7 years
Essential Skills:
1. Proven experience as data analyst with expertise in Python and SQL. 2. Good understanding of Google Cloud Platform. 3. Proficiency in building ETL pipeleines feeding on-premise and cloud based datawarehouses & operational data stores. 4. Exposure to one or more of the following - BigQuery, Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Dataflow, Google Cloud Run, Data Build Tool, Google Cloud Pub/Sub. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 7. Exposure to Automobile/Ancillary industry is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop EL/ ELT/ ETL pipelines to make data available in BigQuery analytical data store from disparate batch, streaming data sources for the Supply Chain. 2. Work with on-premise data sources (Hadoop, SQL Server) and Cloud data sources (GCP). Understand existing data models and business rules behind the data and build data pipelines (with GCP) for one or more business domains. 3. Partner closely with data scientists and provision required data to build insightful and compelling data solutions to help drive business decisions. 4. Offer comprehensive technical and strategic counsel to key stakeholders regarding data transformation initiatives. Gain a deep understanding of the value of data within the organization.
