Responsibilities
- 2-5 years of combined experience in Azure Data Engineering projects
- Proficient with Spark topics: pyspark, Databricks, Synapse Notebooks
- Proficient with Azure Data services (like Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure security model, Azure Data Lake, )
- Strong SQL DW knowledge.
- Must have 1+ years of development experience with spark framework.
- Exposure to streaming technologies and messaging bus like Kafka/rabbit MQ.
- Proficient with creating pipelines and activities using both Azure and On-Prem data stores for full and incremental data loads into a Cloud DW
- Proficient in data topics: management, processing, cleaning, transforming, aggregating, security, and modeling using AAS/PBI
- Working knowledge of creating Power BI reports and dashboards
- Must have strong programming skills in altleast one programming language like Python/Java.
- Strong sql and data analysis skills.
- Experience working within a distributed team, following an Agile methodology with a DevOps approach using GIT or TFS
Qualifications
- Bachelor in computer science or related, Master degree considered as a plus
