Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Transform Data into Insights: Utilize a range of tools and technologies, including Alteryx, Informatica(IICS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights.
Bridge Business and Data: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their business objectives and translate them into actionable data analysis requirements.
Visualize and Communicate: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate complex data stories to stakeholders.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes, optimize workflows, and leverage data-driven insights to improve business performance.
Dive Deep into Ad-Hoc Analyses: Conduct in-depth analysis on demand, providing actionable recommendations based on your findings.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously explore and adapt to the latest advancements in data analysis techniques, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Strong Foundation: bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Hands-On Experience: Proven 3-5 years experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on analyzing large datasets.
Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
Data Mastery: Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, including data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
Coding Prowess: Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or R.
ETL Savvy: Extensive experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
Visualization Skills: Experience with data visualization tools like QlikSense or Looker is a plus.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a data-driven approach.
Communication Champion: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights.
Agile and Collaborative: Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Growth Mindset: Proactive attitude, willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies, and a passion for continuous learning.
Domain Knowledge (Bonus): Familiarity with indirect purchasing processes and SAP Ariba/S4 knowledge is a plus.
