Practical Information:

Join our team as our new Data Engineer, where you will be showcasing data engineering solutions to prospects and customers. Your role involves understanding their needs, crafting data-driven and AI-powered solutions. You will be collaborating closely with Solution Architects (SA) and other stakeholders, delivering cutting-edge data architectures, pipelines, and platforms using top-tier Cloud data technologies.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Solution Architects during pre-sales activities and serving as a key link between cross-functional teams, ensuring success throughout the sales process
- Estimating project delivery efforts in collaboration with the engineering team and Head of Delivery
- Conceptualizing data platform solutions and design solution architectures
- Providing practical guidance and support to the engineering team by extracting blueprints from successful project deliveries
- Building solutions adhering to internal standards for security, availability, performance, maintainability and best practices for high-scale Cloud environments
Your Competencies:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance data solutions
- Familiar with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration
- Extensive experience with Azure Cloud services, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL and Azure ML
- Strong practical experience with Spark, Hadoop, and related ecosystem technologies and proven experience with Python

- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and collaborate with Solution Architects, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers
- Efficient communication skills, internally and in customer-facing situations as well as comfortable negotiating with multiple stakeholders, understanding their needs, managing risks, and possessing a solution-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
