Role Description: The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes. This role requires expertise in data integration, transformation, and storage, with a focus on ensuring data quality and accessibility.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Integrate data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand data requirements.
• Optimize data processes for performance and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
• Stay updated with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., Pentaho, Talend).
• Proficiency in SQL and database management (e.g., MySQL).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) for data processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing.
• Understanding of data modeling and schema design.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, logical & problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
