Job Overview

An exciting opportunity to join Jio, the driving force behind India's leading telecom operator, with 400 Million+ customers. As a Data Centre Solution Architect, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing cutting-edge data center solutions. This full-time position requires more than 10 years of experience and is based in Navi Mumbai.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in data centers and hybrid clouds
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure
• Experience in data center designing and architecture
• Proficiency in configuring switches, routers, and firewalls
• Ability to architect storage solutions for optimal performance

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Must be able to lead team ( internal / external ) and communicate risks, opportunities to senior leadership.

2. Must have prior experience of designing and implementation of at least 2 large scale datacenters including Network, Compute ,Storage and Cloud.

3. Should have prior experience in defining Data Centre roadmap and Capacity Planning strategy for multiple customers.

4. Must have worked on managing Cloud Region / Availability Zone designs, Planning and Implementation for Hyper Scalers / Private Clouds.

5. Should have prior experience in datacenter designing for high density RACKS using cooling systems like liquid to the RACK or DLC ( Direct to chip cooling ).

6. Design and implement power distribution systems, Optimize power usage efficiency and ensure redundancy to minimize downtime risks.

7. Architect network infrastructure for data center environments, including switches, routers, and firewalls. Implement high-speed interconnects and design network topologies to support scalable and resilient connectivity.

8. Develop rack layouts and configurations to maximize space utilization and airflow management

9. Design fault-tolerant architectures to ensure high availability and minimize service disruptions.

10. Architect storage solutions tailored to meet performance, capacity, and data protection requirements.

11. Optimize compute resources through virtualization and containerization technologies.

12. Design and deploy private cloud environments based on virtualization platforms like VMware or OpenStack.

Desired Certification: Azure / AWS / GCP / VMWARE / OpenStack certified solution architect
