Data Centre Operations Specialist in ITC Infotech Bengaluru.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our data center infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance and availability. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in data center operations and management.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage systems, networking, and virtualization.
- Experience with data center monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of data center security, compliance, and disaster recovery practices.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, or equivalent, are preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the data center operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ensure the availability, security, and scalability of the data center infrastructure.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or potential risks to the data center operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain data center infrastructure projects.
- Monitor and optimize data center performance by conducting regular capacity planning and performance analysis.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data center operations, including standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate and manage vendor relationships, including procurement of equipment and services.
- Implement and enforce data center security, compliance, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data center technologies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users as needed.
