Job Title : Data Capability Lead
Duration:6 Months contract

Job Description:
As the Data Capability Lead within the Data and Analytics team, you will be responsible for delivery of innovative data and analytics solutions, ensuring Business stays at the forefront of technical excellence in Data Platform Capabilities particularly Web-based Full Stack development. This pivotal role encompasses managing a dynamic team, optimizing current processes, and leading the charge in Azure-based development projects and incorporating global best practices. Your mission will harness data's power to drive business success, embodying a blend of technical mastery, strategic thinking, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and develop a high-performing Data Capability team, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and collaboration. Ensure alignment with business goals and delivery of exceptional business outcomes.
- Apply your deep expertise in Full Stack Developments and other Data Engineering tools to refine and expand our data capabilities. Lead the design, development, and optimization of our data infrastructure.
- Lead the end-to-end process of designing, documenting, developing, implementing, and testing innovative prototypes that showcase the value of data. You will present these prototypes to various stakeholders, demonstrating the potential impact on our business.
- Drive large-scale data transformation projects, acting as a key liaison with project managers, solution experts, and senior management. Ensure timely delivery of projects with a focus on quality and value.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of diverse data sources and develop scalable data assets.
- Oversee the development and integration of Web Apps, Function Apps, and custom user interfaces, ensuring robust data modeling, quality, governance, and security practices.
- Be responsible for creating reusable and scalable data assets that support ongoing and future projects.
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications, functional specifications, and other project documentation.
- Oversee the integration of our Data Platform with web-based solutions and custom-developed user interfaces.
- Support and advocate for best practices in Data Modelling, Quality, Governance, and Security.
- Demonstrate strong team-player qualities by collaborating with members across multiple engineering teams.
- Adapt to both agile and waterfall project delivery methodologies, guiding both internal and external teams to ensure timely and on-spec business deliveries. As a senior team member your leadership will navigate the team through dynamic project environments to meet and exceed business expectations.
- Serve as the primary contact for all Data Engineering inquiries, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across teams and with senior management.
Skills:
- Proven track record in leading development and delivery of Web Based Full Stack development projects.
- Advanced proficiency in relational and non-relational databases, demonstrating a deep understanding of data structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- Should have expertise in WebApps development including backend development usingASP.net, MVC, C#, Integration with Azure MFA Authentication.
- Should have expertise in SQL Language and Server Management, Azure Environment.
- Should have expertise in UI development using JavaScript, jQuery, Medtronic UI, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, Draw flow (Plugin), Custom jQuery Grids.
- Excellent debugging skills to check Azure App service Logs and database Logs.
- Should have strong skills in integration with external Token-based APIs. Like Graph API for Azure AD management.
- Expertise in Building Function Apps using Python (OOP), creating and managing Azure resources, Azure functions and development of VS custom codes.
- Should be well versed with usage of Azure DevOps and GIT for code management.
- Should have knowledge of Data Engineering components like Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, Databricks UI, Unity Catalog, SCIM Integration, External Location, Databricks cluster and job management.
- Should have strong experience in Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Function apps, Azure Service Bus and Event Grid
- Should have experience on no-SQL Databases like MongoDB, Cosmos etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 15+ years of experience in the domains of Data & Analytics platforms
- Minimum 8+ years of dedicated experience in the design, development, and management of web-based data management portals and tools.
- Minimum 3+ years of practical experience building and managing data pipelines with multiple source system integrations, with a proven track record in implementing analytics capabilities, from conceptualization to delivery.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in building and managing real-time event streaming solutions using Kafka.
- Experience or Knowledge of Data Analytics tools like Alteryx, Tableau and PowerBI will considered as added advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP (BW/BO /ERP), ETL Tools will be considered as an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field of study.
- Certifications in Data & Analytics platform toolsets will be considered as a significant advantage.
