Seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team and lead data modeling, integration, and management efforts across our client projects. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements with IT solutions, ensuring data quality and driving best practices in our data architecture.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with SQL DBs, ETL processes, and cloud technologies, with a focus on building scalable data solutions. You will translate technical and business requirements into automated, operable, scalable and robust solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Hands on experience in designing, developing and optimizing SQL Database used for Analytics purposes
- Modeling SQL DB based on business requirements.
- Develop complex SQL stored procedures (dynamic stored procedures), views, and triggers to support application and ETL development.
- Ensure database structures align with industry best practices and company requirements.
- Interface with customer IT groups to acquire and integrate data bidirectionally
- Partner with project teams to implement designs and ensure adherence to best practices
- Assist in identifying and implementing business rules for each assigned project
- Strong API related experience is preferred to source data and deliver from various endpoints
- Background in using Postman application for building and managing APIs, including creating endpoints, defining request/response formats, and collaborating with team members.
- Matillion ETL tool experience is preferred, however not a requirement.
- Knowledge of Python language used in Data engineering scenarios.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
- 10-15 years of relevant consulting or services experience, preferably with enterprise SaaS implementation projects (e.g., CPQ, CRM, SAP, Informatica, PROS, Vendavo, Salesforce CPQ, Apttus)
- Experience with enterprise SaaS implementation projects
- Knowledge of big data technologies and their applications
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and tools
- Experience with ETL/data management tools for building inbound and outbound data pipelines (e.g., BOOMI, Mulesoft, Matillion)
- Proficiency in SQL Server or similar RDBMS development, with exposure to Big Data technologies
- Expertise in designing and configuring automated system integration and data exchange tools (APIs, Web services)
- Strong knowledge of performance-oriented design and tuning techniques
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for quickly identifying and resolving quality and performance issues
- Ability to learn new technologies rapidly in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communications skills with English as the core business language
