Labcorp is looking for an exceptional
data architect to join the Marketing team and help augment its capability in Market and Customer Analytics to further the utility of data assets towards business insight. This role will be an integral member of a growing team that is responsible for data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies, answer business questions, and help Labcorp better serve our customers.
Located in Bangalore, India, this role will be responsible for building the architectural framework and services to ensure the marketing function has easier access to all the different data sources across Labcorp. This foundational effort is critical to achieve the organization's marketing goals, setting the stage for marketers to meaningfully understand, identify, serve and engage patients, providers, practices, health systems, payors, and biopharma with the right message, product, or engagement. Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data structures to support various marketing functions, including customer 360, customer journey, personalization, segmentation, content recommendation, targeting, pricing, market intelligence, taxonomy, and marketing performance and impact measurement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and analytics teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Address and respond to data challenges uncovered through use of transactional systems or re-use in analytical solutions by updating and enhancing Information architectures and related components.
- Ensure the information architecture service deliverables are prioritized and are readily consumable by data scientists, data analysts and project teams supporting both transactional systems and analytical systems.
- Drive the definition and adoption of master data sources within the business, marketing, and IT communities. Support the development and maintenance of information strategies and plans, ensuring these are technically viable, architecturally sound, and will deliver business value according to expectations.
- Act as the design authority and primary advisor for the promotion, support, and implementation of information architectures.
- Develop and maintain the framework for architectures and services, ensuring Labcorp Marketing has the tools, models, mechanisms, and associated governance to support robust and complex information landscape.
- Ensure architecture and associated services are aligned and measured to support business priorities.
- Lead and support the development of value-based business cases for the introduction and expansion of information management and architecture capabilities.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends in data integration and design technologies and integrate them into the target architectures when appropriate.
Education/Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (Bachelor's) from an accredited institution in Computer Science, SW Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, IT/IMS, Statistics, or other STEM field with a strong quantitative background with more than 7+ years of overall experience
- Key skills
- Experience in distributed data systems like Databricks (Spark)
- Experience building and servicing ETL jobs
- Good to have Hands on experience with healthcare data
- 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering or equivalent role
Experience/Skills
- 5-10 years of development experience with big data platforms & data architecture experience
- Experience designing data models using key Martech technologies including Salesforce (SFDC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, and Qualtrics
- Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines tapping into Salesforce (SFDC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, and Qualtrics
- Reviewing / Proposing Data Architecture recommendations
- Demonstrated success in overseeing the implementation of architectural solutions from conception to delivery
- Developing big data pipelines in cloud using big data technologies such as Apache Spark
- Performing complex data transformation using Spark SQL queries
- Advanced knowledge of APIs and integration services
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
- The ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams, including third party clients and technology partners
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated success in guiding engineering teams
- Demonstrable mastery for collaboration and driving resolution with a cross functional teams.
