Job Level:Data Architect (Databricks)
As a Data Architect, you will be a technical leader responsible for guiding our development team and other stake holders for any data management requirements. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction, designing robust solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of our product.
What you'll do:
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses
- Defining the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data such as product codes and client categories, and master data such as clients, vendors, materials, and employees
- Defining reference architecture, which is a pattern others can follow to create and improve data systems
- Defining data flows, i.e., which parts of the organization generate data, which require data to function, how data flows are managed, and how data changes in transition
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability issues in the product. Also understanding on how to fix the performance w.r.t any data store
- Hands on expertise on AWS. Working with different data stores in AWS
- Collaborating and coordinating with multiple departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors
- Good exposure on DataBricks, BigQuery and MongoDB is a plus
You'll be expected to have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in software development, designing with a strong focus on architecture.
- Proven experience as a technical leader or architect in complex software projects.
- Experience in migrating data from legacy systems to new solutions along with data modelling
- Strong knowledge with SQL, Python languages
- Deep expertise in AWS services and cloud-native development.
- Strong proficiency in BigQuery, DataBricks, MongoDB or any DataWarehouse for data analytics and warehousing.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
