Job Title: Data Architect
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Architect with expertise in RDBMS concepts, SQL query writing, and Teradata Technology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in data integration from multiple sources, a strong background in Data Warehouse & ETL/ELT processes (preferably Informatica), and a thorough understanding of Big Data technologies. Prior experience in the telecom industry is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration and Management:
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration processes from multiple data sources.
- Utilize strong RDBMS concepts and SQL query writing skills to ensure efficient data management.
- Work with Teradata Technology to support data warehousing needs.
- Data Warehouse & ETL/ELT:
- Implement and manage data warehouse solutions and ETL/ELT processes using Informatica.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across the data warehouse.
- Big Data Technologies:
- Utilize Big Data technologies such as Pig, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Nifi, Hbase, ODS, and MSSQL for data processing and analysis.
- Work with Hadoop distributions such as Cloudera or Hortonworks to manage large-scale data environments.
- Technical and Management Skills:
- Demonstrate strong technical and management skills to lead and execute data integration projects.
- Solve complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the same capacity within the telecom industry.
- 10+ Years of experience as Data Architect.
- Strong RDBMS concepts and SQL query writing skills.
- Experience with Teradata Technology.
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse and ETL/ELT processes (Informatica preferred).
- Good knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Pig, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Nifi, Hbase, ODS, and MSSQL.
- Experience with Hadoop distributions like Cloudera or Hortonworks.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
