Roles & Responsibilities:
You will work on the design and implementation of the data strategy for Bosch Digital for BD own data. In doing so, you will support business experts in translating their information requirements into data models and collaborate with IT experts to implement the resulting data architecture in suitable technology platforms.
You will improve the business and operations of Bosch Digital by bridging the gap between the business and application perspectives, increasing the interplay of processes and IT tools.
You will work on the future data management of Bosch Digital, creating the foundation for digitalization by increasing data transparency, integration, usability, and quality.
Your general tasks:
As a data architect you design conceptual, logical, and physical data models in close interaction with business experts of various data domains (Finance, Quality, Product, etc.) as well as with other data professionals, such as data analysts and database admins.
You take responsibility for requirement-/ use case-oriented data modeling and to propose suitable technologies for data architecture implementation.
You review the data projects and several data topics for the data model/architecture efficiency and for keeping guidelines
You create BD relevant guidelines for data modeling and data architecture
Required skills:Good Knowledge of data architectures and related data modeling and design (e.g., Star Schema, Data Vault, Hadoop, Kafka), data integration and interoperability, and meta data management.
. Good knowledge of TOGAF or DAMA (CDMP), certification is of advantage
. In-depth knowledge of query languages (primary SQL) and data access APIs, database management systems.
. Good knowledge of different data types, data sources, infrastructures, existing building blocks and technology platforms (at Bosch).
. Good knowledge of data & software engineering, algorithms and methods for integrating and pre-processing data.
. Good knowledge of various other data management disciplines (e.g., data quality, data governance, data analytics and AI, etc.), however, with focus on data architecture Languages
Personality: Team player, committed, responsible, Working Practice: Agile, analytical, proactive, requirement and solution oriented, enthusiasm: (passion for data topics, technologies, and trends as well as for working with interdisciplinary stakeholders)
BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH/Equivalent in Computer Science
10+ years of relevant experience in the below areas . Working experience as a data architect, data engineer or within a comparable role of at least 3 years. . Working experience in (semantic) data modeling and integration, ETL as well as with IT applications and infrastructure (cloud and on-premises)
