Data architect

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data architecture. The role requires a deep understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and data integration. The candidate should have at least 8-20+ years of experience in the field, and be able to lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts. This is a full-time position based in India.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our data architecture
• Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions
• Ensure data quality and integrity, and implement data security and privacy measures
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data management and analytics
• Provide guidance and recommendations to business stakeholders on data architecture and strategy

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8-19 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration
• Deep understanding of SQL, ETL, and BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView
• Experience with cloud-based data technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with data governance, data security, and data privacy
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Certifications in data management and analytics are a plus
