Job Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialist with expertise in English (US/UK/AUS, Indian English) and Hindi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for annotating, categorizing and labelling data accurately, which is critical for the success of our AI and machine learning models. If you have proficiency in any additional regional languages, it will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate and label data for machine learning models in English (US/UK/AUS, Indian English) and Hindi.
- Ensure high accuracy and quality in all annotations.
- Understand the cultural differences between various dialects of English.
- Collaborate with the data science team to understand project requirements and deliver accordingly.
- Keep track of annotation progress and communicate effectively with the project team.
- Perform quality checks on data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- If proficient in additional regional languages, annotate data in those languages as well. This includes the ability to Read, Write and Speak.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English (US/UK/AUS, Indian English) and Hindi.
- Experience with data annotation tools and platforms is preferred.
- Understanding of language and cultural nuances.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in any additional regional language(s) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in data annotation, transcription, or a related field.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Technical aptitude to work with annotation software.
